Bangalore, 14th October, 2010: After presenting a wide variety of mega serials, Suvarna Channel is all set to launching another serial Beedige Biddavaru with noted director Phani Ramachandra. The serial to go on air on weekdays from 18th October, 2010
Phani Ramachandra, who has directed a number of films and teleserials with his own inimitable style of irony and humour, is returning to the small screen after a break with Beedige Biddavaru. He has directed a number of super hit films like “Ganeshana Madhuve”, Gauri Ganesha and “Ganesha Mathe Banda” besides some record-breaking teleserials.
The story revolved around 6 young men who have fallen into the trap thinking that only software industry alone is supreme; multinational companies are the lifeline of existence; forgetting one’s culture and tradition while earning in millions and then finally going bankrupt in the wake of economic recession. Insights like `parents wish that their daughter should marry only to a software engineer’ are presented in a lighter vein.
“Like my other films and serials, this serial too has a strong social message to the society narrated through humour and irony. Although the story revolves around characters around characters from the world of IT and BT and their families, there is a message for the whole society. I believe the viewers will like it”, says Phani Ramachandra.
Beedige Biddavaru will be telecast Monday to Friday at 7pm, from 18th October.
