Discovery Kids brings another hit global franchise to Indian television with the launch of G.I. JOE RENEGADES. The animated hero G.I. Joe enjoys over four decades of universal appeal through his military themed figurines and toys, comic books and films.

G I Joe Renegades will premiere on February 15 and will air every Monday to Sunday at 6 PM on Discovery Kids.

Based on the iconic character, the series combines 26 adventure-filled episodes, action-packed storytelling and spell bound animation. G.I. JOE RENEGADES will be set on the backdrop of ‘good vs. evil’ and is sure to bring new wave of excitement to television viewing amongst kids.

G I Joe Renegades will showcase the origins of G.I. Joe, the team and their evil nemesis, the Cobra organization. The viewers will witness the emergence of the heroic team as a cadre of highly-trained specialists who come together to prevent the nefarious forces of Cobra from achieving global domination.

In the new series, a spy mission against Cobra Industries goes awry, a young G.I. JOE team is forced to hit the road as fugitives. The group of six young – Duke, Scarlett, Roadblock, Tunnel Rat, Ripcord and Snake Eyes will use their wits and elite training to prove their innocence to the

world before being caught by the authorities, Cobra or another elite military team called the Falcons.
