Surya tv started showing the coming soon promo of maayanadhi malayalam movie, they holding the satellite rights telecasting very soon. Surya tv purchased several film rights this year, they bagged maohanlal movie neerali, mammootty film abrahaminte santhathikal etc. Maaya nadi is a malayalam romantic thriller movie telling the story of Appu and Mathen. It’s Written by Syam Pushkaran and Dileesh Nair, Aashiq Abu is the director of the movie. Tovino Thomas and Aishwarya Lekshmi are playing the lead roles in this film. This movie released on 22 December and received positive reviews from all.

Tovino Thomas as Maathan is the hero of the movie, his official name is John Mathew. Aishwarya Lekshmi as Appu is playing the heroine role. Harish Uthaman, Ilavarasu, Leona Lishoy, Darshana Rajendran, Maya Menon, Jayakumar, Lijo Jose Pellissery etc in supporting star cast. Beautiful songs are the main highlight of Maayanadi movie, Rex Vijayan composed for the film. Shahabaz Aman won the Kerala State Film Award for Best Singer for the rendition of the song Mizhiyil Ninnum. Anwar Ali, Vinayak Sasikumar and Rafeeq Ahammed wrote the lyrics.
