Directed by Kannada filmdom’s celebrated cinematographer Ashok Kashyap, the new serial, Preetiyinda explores the surroundings and situations around us, through the eyes of its two protagonists , Neela and Pachhe. The serial to be telecast at 9 pm Monday to Friday from 7th March.The serial, as the title suggests, seeks to bring on to the small screen the true reflection of what friendship and bonding between bosom friends is all about.
It explores the various facets of the youth and their experiences in biased society and provides interesting insights into the workings of their minds as also thought process. In the process it aims to drive home the message that even one’s complexion and personal make-up can predict or holds a mirror to what future lies for one. In other terms, `true love & friendship are beyond colour’

Shot on lush scenic and picturesque locales of Malnad’s holy and historical temple town, located in the Shimoga District, on the banks of river Tunga, the serial brings.Briefing reporters, Suvarna Business Head Anup Chandrashekaran said “Preetiyinda, is a novel and entirely different experiment on Kannda TV. It is an extension of Suvarna’s fresh thinking that showcases serials in an all new light and perspective, like our recent launches”

Preetiyinda, he explained, joins a bouquet of immensely popular and captivating offerings from the house of Suvarna, which has to its credit mega serials such as Guru Raghavendra Vaiabhava, Lakumi Classmates & Sindhoora, all of which different in their own genres, and have created history on Kannada small screen for their novelty, themes, social settings and insightful direction.
Further, he said, the serial is meant for home and entire family viewing, while expressing confidence that the serial’s beautiful story and concept will go well with the entire family members captivating one and all across the State.
