You Think You Can Dance has been pioneer in introducing varied dance forms – classifying them as Stage and Street at a reality show platform. The show which began with 20 immensely talented dancers from across the country, has finally reached its last leg. The race to the finale saw high-octane, mesmerizing performances, emotional moments and a lot of encouragement from the judges Madhuri Dixit, Terence Lewis and Bosco Martis and the guests alike.
From Madhuri’s applauds by calling a performance a dhak-dhak performance to Terence and Bosco’s standing-on-the-chair ovation, the talent has only grown and bettered themselves with each passing day. After weeks of eliminations, the show now has its Top 6 finalists, which includes the best dancers in the country. Having put in immense effort, facing cut throat competition; meet the So You Think You Can Dance Top 6 from amongst whom the audience will choose their favorite in the Grand Finale of So You Think You Can Dance.
Being the youngest contestant on the show didn’t deter the spirit of Aryan who hails from Ranchi. Even though he is only 16 he is capable of beating Street Dancers much older to him. This talented dancer with huge fan following is someone to watch out for.
Roza Rana – A girl who dances when she walks, talks and sleeps, Roza Rana has mastered the art of hip-hop. She has taken place in the hearts of audience with her marvelous dancing skills and unstoppable energy!
Kalpita Kachroo – A Kathak dancer from Delhi, 19 year old Kalpita has taken a place in the hearts of audience with her brilliant dancing skills. This talented dancer with huge fan following has achieved so much in a very short time.
A 16 year old girl from Bhilai, Alisha is a power packed performer. She does Krump, HipHop and B-Girling which only a few girls do. This gives her an edge over the others.
Tarun Nihalani – A 25 year old Contemporary Dancer from Nashik, Tarun is a very Traditional Boy. It’s his simplicity that has won over many hearts and made him a crowd favourite.
Ryan Martyr – A Contemporary Dancer from Delhi, Ryan’s dream was to retire from city life at the age of 25 after competing in #SoYouThinkYouCanDance. Hence this show has come at the right point in his life. He has taken a place in the hearts of audience with his marvelous dancing skills.
Each one of the six finalists has a special unique quality, which makes them worthy of this coveted title.
