Tovino Thomas Was the chief guest of Asianet’s Star Singer Season 8 Launch Event
No.1 Malayalam GEC Asianet bring back it’s popular Reality show format, channel telecasting the Launch event this sunday. Asianet is all set to telecast the popular musical reality show Star Singers’ eight season’s colourful launching ceremony on 3rd January from 12noon onwards. Youth Icon Tovino Thomas is the chief guest of the mega show in which introducing the 40 highly talented contestants and jury panel.

The marathon launching event is a mix of variety programmes also. SPB tribute by S P Charan, Mano & Judges , Jugalbandi by Sivamani , Stephen Devassy , Mattannoor Sankaran namboothiripad and team , dance fusion “ Sankharam “ performed by leading artistes Asha Sarath , Navya Nair , Iniya , Paris Laxmi, Krishnaprabha , Neetha Pillai and other dancers , musical treat by bollywood singers Benny Dayal, Nikhitha Gandi, Arya dayal , Harishnakar and Nithya Menon.
Medley dance by Durga Krishnan, Manikuttan , Saranya Anand , Maneesha & Athira , Music fusion by Ramesh Narayan and his daughters Madhusree and Madhuvanthi , skit by Hareesh Kanaran & team and various acts performed by Arya , Dharamajan & other serial artistes in the ten hours long show.
