Super Singer season 8 was launched in January with the best 20 contestants who had gone through various preliminary auditions and had entered the stage with an ability to sing on various genres in the contest. Leaving no stones unturned, the 8th season of super singer has arrived at a final six contestants who will battle for the coveted title. Finalists – Muthusirpi, Sridhar Sena, Bharath, Abhilash, Anu and Maanasi; while Sridharsena and Maanasi were wildcard round winners. The title winner gets to sing for music composer Anirudh Ravichandran.
