Zee entertainment launched a new digital platform named zee5 app, this will replace existing ditto tv and ozee applications. It’s officially launched on 14th february 2018 and available for downloading on google play store. This will the largest online streaming application and zee network ensuring wide range, over 173 countries and a reach of more than 1.3 billion people around the globe. There will free and premium options available, registration is not mandatory to browse content. but you need to login to the platform for watching content, we can adjust the video quality (auto, 470, 1020 etc) from the video menu.

English, Hindi, Bengali, Malayalam, Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, Marathi, Oriya, Bhojpuri, Gujarati and Punjabi are the available languages. This is first time in india that an video streaming application offering 12 languages in settings. As mentioned above Zee5 App is free to use, but you need to subscribe for watch premium content. The premium content of zee five is available at a monthly charge of Rs 150. There is a special launch offer price is Rs99 running now. All the existing 10 million users of OZee and Ditto TV will be upgraded to Zee5. If you are using ozee or ditto tv, it will automatically upgrade into latest application zee 5.

Zee malayalam is the upcoming venture from zee network, it’ss scheduled to launch on 2018 Onam. They have already bagged telecast rights of some latest malayalam block busters. From main menu we can browse the segments, it’ss TV Shows, Live TV, Movies, Premium etc. Star network’s Hotstar, Viacom 18’ss Voot TV App, Sony Pictures network’ss Sony LIV, Sun network’s Sun NXT are the other online video streaming applications.
